This Poster for the 1924 British Empire Exhibition, at Wembley in 1924 was in fact done specifically for the visitors, it folds up and would fit easily in your pocket.

On one side of the poster is the map showing the railway lines and underground and the other is text about the various Pavilions, such as Newfoundland, New Zealand, Australia, India to name a few.

The British Empire Exhibition held at Wembley attracted 27 million visitors. The British Empire contained 58 countries and all apart from Gambia and Gibraltar exhibited, it cost £12 million to stage and was the largest exhibition ever staged anywhere in the world
