The Stratocruiser, built by Boeing and put into production in the late 1940’s. Two Decks!!! The Upper had 40 to 100 seats or 28 sleeper berths, the lower deck had a lounge or bar. Luxury travel, only 55 were made for commercial airlines, before being modified and improved.

American Airlines took controlling shares of AEA (American Export Lines) in 1945. AEA had been given transatlantic rights but were forced to sell, this enabled AA to break into the overseas market largely dominated by PAA (Pan Am). AEA became American Overseas Airlines.

LeWitt – Him was a partnership between two Polish artists. They met in Warsaw in 1933 and quickly discovered that they worked better together than alone. In 1937 they moved to London
